My most used eyeshadow palette!

Let’s be honest, $53 is a lot of money to pay for eyeshadow! There is no way around it, that is expensive for a small palette with four colors. The famous Urban Decay Naked palettes are similar in cost, but you get 12 different colors and a brush. I get it. Some of you may be shaking your head and saying “no way!” Trust me, I have been there. I have lusted after the Charlotte Tilbury palettes many times, but decided to be sensible and buy a less expensive option. I recently did a post all about drug store makeup products that I absolutely love and use everyday. All of my makeup is drugstore, except for my bronzer/blush and my eyeshadow. I have easily spent more than the $53 price tag buying a million other drug store eye shadow palettes that I end up not liking and not using. So, this year during the Sephora sale, I decided to splurge and go for the Charlotte Tilbury Exaggeereys set. Wow, I am so glad I did! I have so many eyeshadow palettes that have multiple colors, but often times, I end up only using a few from the set. I have a general everyday make up look that I like and I don’t end up using the other 10 shades that come. They end up just causing confusion because there are so many. If you are a makeup guru, then you may welcome the many colors offered in most palettes. But, if you are like me and have a limited amount of time to get ready everyday, then you welcome anything that can streamline the process. The four shades in this palette take the guess work out of applying your makeup. The colors go on so smoothly, and blend so well. They are nicely pigmented without being too bold, and the colors stay put all day. It is also small and compact, so it’s great for travel! I find myself always buying lipstick and eyeshadow palettes, but since I purchased this one, I haven’t even thought about buying more. In this case, the price tag is definitely worth it! I don’t mind splurging a little bit for something high quality that I use every single day! Charlotte Tilbury can be purchased at Sephora or Nordstrom!

For my everyday look, I use the shade in the top right all over my lid, then the shade in the bottom right in the crease and finally the shade in the top left under my eyebrows. For special occasions, I use the shade in the bottom left to add a little extra sparkle!
